Scenic Ride Directions

These directions are great for traveling by motorcycle or by car.

PART 1

The first part of the ride takes you from Joplin, through Spring City, Racine and Neosho before arriving at Undercliff Grill & Bar.

1. From East 32nd Street, turn south onto Reinmiller Road.

2. Turn right (west) on old 71 Highway/Saginaw Road. This will take you back up north a bit.

3. Turn left (west) on Saginaw Road.

4. Cross over Rangeline Road and continue west on River Road.

5. Turn right (north) onto South Main Street. Pass Shoal Creek Conservation Education  and Hideout Harley-Davidson.

6. Exit the roundabout at Glendale Road.

7. Go under the I-44 overpass, then turn left (south) at the low water bridge over Shoal Creek (Jackson Avenue).

8. Turn right (west) onto Riverside Drive. Pass Grand Falls.

9. Turn left (north) onto Deer Drive. This runs along I-44.

10. Turn right (east) onto Murphy Boulevard. Go under I-44 overpass.

11. This becomes Castle Drive, which loops around and comes out at South Main Street/Highway 86. Continue south on Highway 86 until it forks; take a left towards Spring City.

12. Continue south on Highway 86 to Racine.

13. Turn left (east) and continue to follow Highway 86 into Neosho.

14. Turn left (north) on Highway 175/Gateway Drive.

15. Just before the I-49 overpass, turn right (north) onto Highway Vv/Old 71. This will take you directly to Undercliff Grill & Bar.

PART 2

This will take you from Undercliff Grill & Bar through Duenweg, Carthage, Carterville and Webb City.

1. Go east on Elder Road and, at the fork, go left (north) on Kodiac Road.

2. Continue on Kodiac past Highway V, Aspen Road, and FF Highway (Joplin’s 32nd Street).

3. Turn right (east) onto 7th Street.

4. Turn left (north) onto Highway Aa/180 (which turns into 175).

5. Turn right (east) onto Fir Road.

6. Turn left (north) onto 170.

7. Turn left (west) onto Old 66 Boulevard and pass the 66 Drive-In Theatre.

8. Continue over the I-49/171 overpass, then turn left (west) which is still Old 66 Boulevard.

9. In Carterville, turn right (west) onto Main Street/Old 66. Pass Supertam on 66.

10. At the stop sign, turn left (south) onto 22nd Drive.

11. At the roundabout, exit on 171 heading west.

12. Turn left (south) onto Main Street. Pass praying hands.

13. Turn left (east) onto Tracy Street and pass the Webb City Farmers Market.

14. Turn right (south) onto Hall Street. This road turns into Duquesne Road and will take you back to Joplin’s 32nd Street.

I have worked in education and event planning, and have always loved to write. I hold a master's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Tulane University.
