Living Life to The Fullest!

Joplin MO LifeI love seeking out new experiences and finding places off the beaten path. I started Joplin MO Life in August 2013 as a way to share my discoveries with others in the Joplin community so that they can learn about the resources that exist right in their own backyards.

I have worked in education and event planning, and have always loved to write. I hold a master's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Tulane University.

  1. A friend of mine has a farm out in Parsons! It’s a really fun place for kids and families.

    • Thanks for the information, Daniel! I’ve added Angholdur Farms to the list.

  2. We just past a pumpkin farm on our way back from Chicken Annie’s in Pittsburg. with lots of kids rides and activities…even pony rides. It might be Wood farms. It looks like a good one because it’s close. And you can pick up Chicken Annies for dinner!

    • The only one I know of in Pittsburg is Wood Farms, and it is one of our favorite fall destinations! Thanks for the suggestion of Chicken Annies for dinner, because who wants to cook after a day at the pumpkin patch?!
